Control Systems (ECE Paris)
Control Systems (ECE Paris)

Summary
From April to June 2026, control systems course at ECE Paris, taught to the full cohort of 500 students.
I taught the second half of the course — sessions 5 to 9, covering digital control: $z$-transform, discretisation, sampled PID, filtering and Kalman estimation — along with its assessments. The first half, on continuous-time systems, was taught by another lecturer.
Course material
All the documents handed out to students are published on this site — six lecture decks, the final exam and a sample individualised quiz paper:
The final exam is built as a single running case study on the altitude control of an observation drone, and is presented in full here.
